To explain the idea for the stand, it must be noted that our client is organizing a series of lectures in Tektónica Fair, whose theme is light is much more.

Therefore, we use as a starting point two quotes from a book of the Spanish architect Alberto Campo Baeza (the book will be released in the Fair on the day of the conference, and this architect will be one of the guests). The quotes are:

It is when an architect discovers that light is the central theme of architecture that he begins to be a true architect. (…) And now I dare to replace that “light is more “, (…) by this “light is much more”.

I often compared in my classes light with salt. When the light is well dosed, like salt, architecture reaches its best point. (…) In general, it is not easy for the architects to hit the right amount of architecture’s salt, light.

Thus, among other aspects related to the light’s theme, what we proposed was a group of volumes “coated” by “mores” and the use of salt on the pavement.

The Stand promotes architecture from the exhibition of five projects of architects, J. L. Carrilho da Graça, Gonçalo Byrne and our studio are examples, to selling architecture books.
