Day 65: tranquility

Seminar "Partition Walls: Past, Present and Future"

No concurso continuamos a avançar.

A conferência correu bem.

Although yesterday we released the video, in what concerns to the subtitles there were some shortcomings (English translation), particularly in terms of construction of phrases, of punctuation, and also of spelling. Today if you notice, it’s already corrected.

We continue advancing in the competition. We thought we were going to work the three of us these four days (two holidays and the weekend), but there is no need. Of the four days, just to control the work, coordination plans to work two to three days (no nights as it was expected); of the two, only one of the collaborators, from her home will make a “small” specific task. In addition, as mentioned in a previous post, in this competition we also count on the work of a former employee of the studio, whom is responsible for virtual images, and this one, yes, this task requires a greater level of time dedication.

In parallel, we are already eyeing a new contest.
To enter it we need to know a little bit more about it, especially if it has a base of reliability. We don’t have the slightest interest in working for competitions that seem to have already an anticipated winner.

The conference went well. One note: the studio has been invited to some of these events, especially with an audience of fellow architects; in this case the audience was mostly made up of engineers (civil); feels good to change sometimes…
